From there, discounts and financial assistance brought the total amount of medical bills down to $639 million. Through this support, members facing catastrophic medical bills totaling over $125,000 were able to have their medical bills shared.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"tab-content\" data-tab-id=\"3\"><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>In 2024, CHM members shared over\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">$20,792,000<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>in medical bills for members with maintained pre-existing conditions.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Through the Gold Schedule and CHM Give, members with maintained <a href=\"https:\/\/chministries.org\/blog\/how-chm-shares-pre-existing-conditions\/\">pre-existing conditions<\/a> were able to receive the support they needed as they faced long-lasting illness and health issues. questions were answered, provided information about the medical bill submission process, and prayed with members during difficult medical situations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/section><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"padding-right:0;padding-left:0;margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);\" class=\"chm-block-slider has-text-align-left wp-block-acf-slider\" id=\"block_d37d4da32f3c2e8c13619916f4b77eba\" >\r\n  \r\n  <div class=\"slides-container\" data-slick='{\"autoplay\":true,\"autoplaySpeed\":6000}'><div class=\"slide-container\"><div class=\"slide-content\"><div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CHM members often\u00a0<strong>receive medical bill discounts of 45% or more<\/strong>, which equals tens and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">These discounts are thanks to members\u2019 dedication, plus the hard work of CHM\u2019s Member Advocate team.
